Integrating TAM and EUCS Model for Academic Faculty Website Analysis Method

This study assesses user acceptance and satisfaction with the Faculty of Computer Science (FIK) website using a model that integrates the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). This combined approach enables a deeper understanding of how user perceptions and responses to technology impact their attitudes towards accepting and using it. The study develops an integrated TAM-EUCS model to analyze and enhance user satisfaction with the FIK website. Eight constructs, including Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Attitude Towards Using Technology (ATU), Content (CT), Accuracy (AC), Format (FT), Ease (EA), and Timeliness (TL) are hypothesized to influence user attitudes toward the website. This study involved research subjects from students as users of academic websites with a sample size of 322 students based on the Slovin formula. Convergent validity, assessed through Average Variance Extracted (AVE) indicating that constructs are well-measured. Path coefficients and t-tests support hypotheses regarding the influence of Accuracy, Ease, Perceived Usefulness, and Timeliness on Attitude Toward Using, underscoring the importance of these factors in enhancing website acceptance. Improving these elements is crucial for increasing positive user attitudes and ensuring continued use of the FIK website.
