Clustering Immunization Reception Data Using K-Means in Districts of DKI Jakarta Province
Immunization is an activity carried out to protect the body from the transmission of certain diseases through the administration of vaccines. According to data from the Directorate General of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) of the Ministry of Health, DKI Jakarta was one of the provinces with the lowest coverage of complete basic immunization for infants nationally in 2021. DKI Jakarta ranked 6th with a percentage of 63.3%, compared to the national average of 84.4%. Additionally, the sectoral statistics report of DKI Jakarta Province revealed that the reception of complete basic immunization was uneven. Therefore, this study was conducted to cluster sub-districts in DKI Jakarta Province based on immunization reception data to facilitate the DKI Jakarta Health Office in equalizing immunization reception. This study used complete basic immunization reception data in DKI Jakarta Province in 2022, detailed down to the sub-district level. The study resulted in the best number of clusters being two: cluster 0 (low) and cluster 1 (high). Cluster 0, characterized by low immunization reception, dominated the sub-districts in DKI Jakarta Province, consisting of 34 sub-districts, while cluster 1, with higher characteristics, consisted of 10 sub-districts.
