The Measurement Model for Evaluating the SME Information Systems Capabilities (Study Cased: Ogan Ilir District Regencies Government Offices, South Sumatera)
In today's information age, the internet has made information increasingly accessible to all segments of society, not only in urban areas but also in rural communities. The government of Ogan Ilir Regency has initiated the development of IT infrastructure, including village internet, to address the digital divide between rural and urban populations. The development and implementation of the digital village program aim to provide electronic government services (SPBE) to the public and empower communities through the utilisation of technology. This research seeks to survey IT infrastructure to develop a concept that leverages village potential, enhances marketing, and accelerates access to public services. A quantitative approach is employed to survey and map IT usage in villages, ultimately resulting in a model for independent digital village development. Data for the study are obtained through surveys and focus group discussions (FGDs) with the Ogan Ilir local government and micro, small, and medium enterprises (SME). Secondary data is sourced from village and SME profiles, as well as the Central Bureau of Statistics. The study's findings indicate that IT infrastructure and IT strategy management play crucial roles in the development of digital villages in Ogan Ilir Regency. Additionally, these findings hold practical significance for the continuous improvement of MSME performance in the region.
