Extraskeletal chondrosarcoma: a case report
Extraskeletal chondrosarcoma is a rare malignant tumor arising in soft tissues rather than bones, accounting for less than 2% of all soft tissue sarcomas. This report discusses a 50-year-old female diagnosed with ESC in the left gluteal region. The case highlights clinical presentation, diagnostic workup, treatment, and follow-up. The report underscores the significance of early detection, complete surgical resection, and meticulous follow-up protocols in managing this rare malignancy.
