Analytical Calculation of Exciting Capacitance of Self-Excited Induction Generators Based on the Complex Hurwitz Criterion
The extended complex coefficient Hurwitz criterion is utilized for analyzing the stability of the autonomous system of the self-excited induction generator (SEIG), with the objective of exploring its analytical significance. By employing the extended complex coefficient Hurwitz criterion, both the sufficient and necessary conditions for ensuring system stability were derived and the critical exciting capacitance for successful operation of SEIG was computed. These findings illustrate that the employed methodology demonstrates effective and universally applicable when investigating stability aspects related to SEIGs. Besides, the analytical formula about the exciting capacitance obtained in this paper also has certain application value in practical engineering.
