Enhancing ATM Accessibility: A Dual-Language (Tamil and English) Streamlit Application with Audio Guidance and Voice Command for Visually Impaired Users

This project describes the construction of a twolanguage based ATM specially targeted to improve access for the blind user. The system includes selecting and exporting the latest speech recognition and text-to-speech (TTS) technologies, and voice input the command to control the ATM and provide realtime audio response. Combined with both Tamil and English, the system assists users in doing basic banking, including withdrawals, deposits, balance checks, and transfers while not requiring graphics or touch in input forms. The proposed system also utilizes secure personnel security components like the encrypted PIN and Voice Authenticated transaction, to allow users to perform transactions securely and without any assistance. This project fixed the exclusion of visually impaired persons from traditional ATMs, using modern NLP techniques to give financial inclusion for everyone. Besides, when it comes to the languages, the system versatility allows integrating regions with many linguistic backgrounds, which also expands the system's availability. The development of this system is a major achievement in addressing the issue of accessibility and usability of banking services particularly to the visually impaired users of the system will reduce their reliance on the assistance of other people while performing their banking transactions.
