Assessment Method for Potential Carbon Reduction in Electricity Considering Marginal Cost-Effectiveness
In response to the fact that the construction of China's carbon and electricity markets is still in its early stages, and due to the positive superposition of electricity carbon marginal costs and the bidirectional impact of carbon emissions and power generation plans, power companies are under enormous cost pressure to achieve carbon reduction targets, therefore, a carbon reduction potential assessment method considering marginal cost-effectiveness is proposed. This method first calculates the carbon reduction potential of a single carbon reduction measure for power grid enterprises, analyzes the carbon reduction amount and cost of a single carbon reduction measure. Then, with the goal of maximizing carbon assets and minimizing emission reduction costs, the marginal cost-effectiveness is considered to calculate the carbon reduction potential of power grid enterprises, under the constraints of various carbon reduction measures and the balance of electricity supply and demand, effectively transferring the bid winning electricity in the electricity market from high pollution dyeing motors to cleaner generators can promote the reduction of carbon emissions in the power system and achieve the goal of carbon emission constraints for power grid enterprises, at the same time, during high load periods, the cost of carbon reduction is transmitted to consumers by increasing carbon conductivity, ensuring the overall income level of the power industry.
