A Multi-VSG Parallel Control Strategy Based on Fuzzy PID and Center of Inertia Frequency

Aiming at the oscillation issues arising during load mutation in multi-virtual synchronous generator (VSG) parallel control systems, this paper introduces a multi-VSG parallel control strategy based on fuzzy PID and center of inertia (COI) frequency, which can effectively suppress oscillations in the transient process and enhance system stability. Firstly, a small-signal model of the multi-VSG parallel system is established to analyze the mechanisms of system oscillations. Secondly, a fuzzy PID controller combined with COI frequency estimation is constructed and applied to the active power control loop of VSGs to improve the system's transient stability. Finally, simulation comparisons are conducted to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed oscillation suppression strategy.
