Research on Stress Assessment Methods for Steam Generator Outlet Pipelines
This paper aims to study stress assessment methods for steam generator outlet pipelines to ensure the safe operation of power stations. It describes the distributed self-weight condition and the slack cold condition. The distributed self-weight condition considers the total weight of the pipeline system and distributes the total weight load to each support and hanger. The slack cold condition simulates the process of the pipeline transitioning from a hot to a cold working state, calculating the displacement and stress caused by thermal expansion and contraction. The model focuses on the steam pipeline extending from the outlet of the steam generator to the inlet of the turbine. The distribution of distributed loads and structural loads, as well as the distribution of working loads and cold displacements, and working loads and thermal displacements, has been calculated. The results indicate that the calculated primary and secondary stresses fall within the allowable stress range. The paper summarizes the stress assessment process for steam pipelines, including defining assessment objectives, collecting pipeline information, selecting appropriate software, creating geometric models of pipelines, setting constraint nodes, calculating load conditions, obtaining stress and displacement data, and verifying whether the stresses meet standard requirements. Through the use of reasonable calculation models and stress analysis, the behavior characteristics of pipelines under different conditions can be evaluated.
