Finds from the catacomb No. 1 of the settlement «Vishesteblievskaya 16-a»
Catacomb № 1 was explored, where skeletal remains of 10‑13 adults and one child of 10 years were found. Alterations to the anatomic layout of the bones indicate that the burials were not done simultaneously. The analysis of grave goods (lekanai, unguentaria, amphoriskos, bowl, jugs, olpe) allows us to date the catacomb to the end of 3rd – beginning of the 2nd century BC.
