Haller as a Wittgenstein-Scholar
Abstract From the beginning of his career as a philosopher to its end, Rudolf Haller always dealt with Wittgenstein. The most important impulses for Haller’s thinking came from Wittgenstein and he devoted a considerable part of his publications to him. Haller’s account on Wittgenstein is sketched by means of selected topics: the ones of continuity in Wittgenstein’s thinking; influences on Wittgenstein; solipsism and egology; and rule-following, forms of life and epistemic fundamentalism are picked out since Haller extensively worked on them and these are also significant questions for Haller’s own thinking.
