In the work we present, Dr. Constantin Ungureanu continues his series of scientific endeavors focused on highlighting historical sources related to demographics, the school population, and the education system in Austrian Bukovina. This time, he provides readers with data from the Franciscan Cadastre of Bukovina, finalized in the years 1854-1856. Projected to be completed in seven volumes, the first two volumes were published in 2022 and 2023. These volumes present cadastral maps, data on land parcel owners, construction parcels, statistical data from the population censuses of 1880 and 1910, data on the ethnicity of voters listed in the 1910 electoral rolls, as well as data on the structure of the school population in 1913, primary education, in the localities of the urban district of Chernivtsi, rural Chernivtsi, and Sadagura (in volume I), Storojineț and Vășcăuți (in volume II).
