Preface

The 2025 International Symposium on Instrumentation and Navigation Control (ISINC 2025) was held in Nanjing, China, from February 21-23, 2025. As a leading platform for advancing innovation in instrumentation, navigation control, and aerospace technologies, ISINC 2025 aimed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and address critical challenges in these fields. This year’s conference highlighted cutting-edge research on advanced sensor systems, autonomous navigation, aerospace engineering, and artificial intelligence. All accepted papers were published in the conference proceedings and submitted to EI Compendex / Scopus for indexing. The selection process, rigorously double-blind peer-reviewed by experts, guaranteed originality and relevance to the conference’s themes. A key highlight of ISINC 2025 was the participation of distinguished keynote speakers, including Prof. Dr. Maria Pia Fanti from Italy’s Polytechnic University of Bari, Prof. Shahid Hussain of China’s Jiangsu University, and Prof. Yaguan Qian affiliated with Zhejiang University of Science and Technology. Their presentations offered cutting-edge insights into Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM), gas-sensing systems integrated with machine learning, and AI security challenges. Complementing these talks were oral sessions, poster presentations, and panel discussions that stimulated dynamic exchanges on emerging trends in instrumentation and navigation control.
