Detection algorithm for induced voltage in primary winding of transformer
Abstract The electromagnetic environment of power systems is complex, and under the influence of the principle of minimum magnetic current, the simulation effect of reducing the cutoff frequency of frequency-doubled signals is compromised, leading to inconsistent resonance conditions and low accuracy in voltage detection results. In response to these issues, a detection algorithm for the induced voltage in the primary winding of a transformer is proposed. By applying a resonance boosting algorithm, a withstand voltage test method is employed where a 3x frequency test voltage is directly applied to the primary winding of the transformer, and the test voltage is measured again directly using a capacitive voltage divider. Test reactors, excitation transformers, capacitive voltage dividers, and variable frequency power supply devices are selected to ensure that the test circuit meets the resonance condition at the 3x frequency. Field test results demonstrate that the test voltage frequency obtained by the proposed algorithm meets the requirements for a 3x frequency test voltage, and the detection results of the induced voltage in the primary winding are more accurate. This algorithm is well-suited for frequency-doubled withstand voltage tests of transformers rated at 500kV and above. It is of great significance for ensuring the safe and stable operation of power systems.
