Design and Performance of Nanosized MnFe2O4/CoFe2O4-Based Asymmetric Supercapacitors
This study demonstrated the successful preparation of nanosized Mn-ferrite and Co-ferrite for supercapacitor electrodes using a straightforward method. Structural analysis confirmed the formation of a single-phase structure for both materials. A simple approach to fabricating supercapacitor electrodes, utilizing Mn-ferrite as the anode and Co-ferrite as the cathode, was presented. These materials exhibited excellent electrochemical performance, achieving a high specific capacitance of 510 F g −1 at a voltage window of 1 V and a current density of 6 A g −1 . The supercapacitor demonstrated remarkable durability, retaining stability after 1000 charge-discharge cycles. The synergy between Mn-ferrite and Co-ferrite, combined with the simplicity of the fabrication method, underscored their potential for advancing high-performance energy storage devices.
