THE USE OF BUILDING INFORMATION IN MODELING TO ENHANCE HUMAN INTERACTION IN A BUILDING

The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) has transformed the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry by providing a digital representation of a building's physical and functional characteristics. This study explores the potential of BIM to enhance human interaction in buildings, focusing on its impact on occupant experience, collaboration, and decision-making. A comprehensive literature review and case studies are used to examine the current state of BIM adoption and its applications in enhancing human interaction. The findings highlight the benefits of BIM in improving navigation, communication, and collaboration, ultimately leading to enhanced occupant satisfaction and productivity. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on BIM and its potential to revolutionize the built environment. The Success Factors of Collaboration in BIM Implementation for Enhanced Human Interaction in Buildings. The results of the Relative Importance Index (RII) analysis and weighted statistical mean scores revealed the most significant factors that enhance collaboration in Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation for improved human interaction in buildings. The avoidance of project failure was ranked as the most significant factor, with an RII value of 0.939 and a mean score of 4.694. most significant factor was Encourages team building, with an RII value of 0.929 and a mean score of 4.647. The third and fourth significant factors were Improves communication (RII=0.922, mean=4.612) and "Enhances decision-making" (RII=0.918, mean=4.588), respectively..
