โ-Adic Abel-Jacobi map for abelian ๐ก-modules
We study the function field analogue of the <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> โ \ell </inline-formula> -adic Abel-Jacobi map for an abelian <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> t t </inline-formula> -module <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> E E </inline-formula> defined over a function field <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> L L </inline-formula> of positive characteristic. When the Mordell-Weil theorem (in the sense of Poonen) holds for the <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> L L </inline-formula> -valued points of <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> E E </inline-formula> , we show that our Abel-Jacobi map is injective and even an isomorphism when <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> L L </inline-formula> is finite.
