Improved Control Strategy for Stationary Synchronous Compensator with Transient Voltage Suppression
Aiming at the problem of voltage fluctuation of wind farm at the delivery end caused by reactive power surplus during DC fault, this paper proposes an improved control strategy of static synchronous regulator to suppress transient voltage. Firstly, we analyze the impact of DC system fault on the feeder voltage, and then we analyze the reactive power compensation characteristics of the synchronous regulator in different time scales with respect to the fault voltage characteristics; based on this, we put forward an improved control strategy for the regulator, which can be adapted to the different voltage compensation needs, and we also put forward a coordinated control strategy with the other reactive power voltage equipment of the wind farm, which can jointly inhibit the transient voltage after the fault. Based on the CIGRE standard model, the simulation model is carried out to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the method in this paper.
