Optimization of Energy Storage Configuration for Power Restoration After Typhoon Disasters
Global climate warming has led to an increase in natural disasters, severely impacting the social economy and threatening the reliable operation of power grids. This paper takes typhoon disasters as an example and proposes a method for quantifying disturbances at each node during disasters using an equivalent method based on Kron reduction. A system post-disaster transient performance evaluation metric, with frequency as the main objective, is then established. Furthermore, a solution method for the optimization problem is developed using state-space modeling and the projected gradient descent method. Finally, time-domain simulations verify the effectiveness of the proposed energy storage configuration method in improving the transient performance of the system in terms of frequency after a disaster.
