Analysis of Electrical Properties of Line Zinc Oxide Arrester Based on Entropy Weight Method for Electrothermal Aging

In this paper, a 1000 h electrothermal aging test was carried out on the line arrester (MOA), the effect of electrothermal aging on its electrical performance was studied, and the decomposition of the aging arrester was carried out. The results show that with the increase of electrothermal aging time, the leakage current at 0.75 times U1mA.DC gradually decreases, and the total current and resistive current components of the arrester show a decreasing trend under the continuous operating voltage. The dismantling examination showed that the color of the epoxy cylinder deepened, and there were many microcracks on the surface, and the SEM test showed that the porosity of the zinc oxide valve plate increased after aging. In this paper, the entropy weight method is used to calculate the weights of key electrical features in the process of electrothermal aging, which can provide a basis for accurately evaluating the state of zinc oxide arresters in the line.
