Liquid- and Gas Chromatography With Tandem Mass Spectrometric Technique to Optimize and Validate the Analysis of Pesticides in Honey: A Large Scope, Multi-Class, Multi-Residue Method
A method for pesticide residue analysis in honey was developed using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS. The method showed acceptable recoveries (within 70-120%) and repeatability (RSD <20%) at an LOQ of 0.01 mg/kg. Each honey type exhibited a unique matrix effect, emphasizing the need for matrix-matched standards for residue quantifications. The method demonstrated high throughput, selectivity, and sensitivity, making it suitable for regulatory testing.
