Optimization evaluation of microseismic monitoring network in tunnel space for inrush disaster
The accurate location of microseismic events and the evolution of water inrush channels are critical aspects of microseismic monitoring for tunnel water inrush disasters. The precision of microseismic source localization directly impacts the prediction of water inrush-prone times and areas. However, due to the unique challenges of tunnel construction and environmental conditions, numerous factors influence the accuracy of location inversion. This study aims to address these challenges by systematically analyzing the impact mechanisms of arrival time picking, velocity models, and network layouts on source localization accuracy. A hyperbolic positioning model is constructed, leveraging the relatively known characteristics of the water inrush monitoring area. A probabilistic analysis method is developed to generate positioning error imaging for specific source points, and an edge distribution density function is proposed to quantitatively evaluate the network's positioning capability. This research introduces a novel approach to assess and optimize the accuracy of microseismic monitoring networks, providing a scientific basis for the design and improvement of monitoring systems for tunnel water inrush disasters.
