Dialogicity as a substantial feature of an enigmatic text (based on the material of the German language)

The purpose of the study is to substantiate the fact that dialogicity is the essential basis of an enigmatic text, conditioned by its pragmatics and determining its structural and semantic construction. The article provides a theoretical proof of the need to consider any text as potentially dialogical. In the context of research on enigmatic texts, this approach seems constructive, since the dialogic form of implementation here has an ontological character. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that it presents the development of issues related to the immanent dialogical nature of enigmatic texts, and systematizes the means of its verbal expression at different levels of the textual structure. As a result, three grounds for the dialogic openness of the enigmatic text were identified, namely: the two-part compositional and semantic structure of the text, a high degree of tension in subject-speech relations, and the ludic nature, which is manifested, among other things, explicitly in the text through language play. The analysis of the compositional-semantic and formal-speech levels of the enigmatic text allowed us to establish a set of verbal markers of dialogism, which are characteristic of German-language riddles.
