Digital wound management: how it works and its potential benefits in wound care practice
The increasing availability and usability of smartphone technology in healthcare has led to a rise in the use of point-of-care digital devices and solutions including wound management digital systems (WMDS). This article discusses some of the challenges of assessing wounds using traditional manual methods and reviews the potential benefits of using WMDS in clinical practice.
