Arheologia Bucovinei austriece văzută de peste munți. Câteva gânduri pentru viitor
The following text is structured based on the most recent historiographical analysis concerning the History of Archaeology in Romania (Bucharest, 2022), authored by acad. Mihai Bărbulescu, one of the most important archaeologists of the last 50 years, who was educated at the archaeology school in Cluj-Napoca. In addition to the generalizing view common to a formal review, we also focus our attention on both qualitative and quantitative aspects of archaeology in Austrian Bukovina, a subject on which we have insisted in the last 15 years, especially in the generous pages of the periodical of the National Institute “Bukovina” of the Romanian Academy (Rădăuți), the “Annals of Bukovina”, as well as with the support of colleagues from the respectable institution.
