Patrimoniul cultural în viața cotidiană – reflecții din cercetările din teren efectuate în rândul polonezilor din Bucovina
The article outlines the history of Bukovina and Transnistria, highlighting the remnants of Polish cultural heritage in these regions. Field research, conducted as part of a project by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, offers an opportunity for cooperation between humanists and the skilled staff of the Digital Competence Centre. Thanks to modern technology, we have been able to collect Polish artefacts in these areas and also demonstrate the cultural differences between Polish groups in Bukovina and Transnistria. The outcome of the project will be an online platform that will serve as a repository of information on the Polish cultural heritage in Bukovina and Transnistria. The platform will have three functions: it will be an encyclopaedia about the Poles in Bukovina and Transnistria, a website presenting their materials and studies in an accessible and engaging way, a research tool for scholarly work in the field, and a database of research data obtained during fieldwork, which will also serve other disciplines.
