Intracranial basal cell carcinoma. A case report

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is a malignant skin neoplasm with slow cell proliferation. Without proper treatment, the tumor can invade underlying tissues. In this case study, we present a recurrence of BCC in the brain. Radical resection of the tumor is a treatment option, but it is a complicated procedure that requires adequate closure of tissue defects after tumor removal to achieve a favorable cosmetic outcome. Timely diagnosis and proper treatment can prevent the spread of the tumor and the need for complex surgery.
