DIELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF GLASS CERAMIC COMPOSITES FABRICATED VIA MICROWAVE TECHNIQUE
The investigations and enhancement of dielectric ceramics have been studied for decades in order to improve their performance of sustainable management in energy. To increase dielectric constant, dielectric breakdown strength and to decrease dielectric loss have been generally focused. In this study, Ti0.98(Ni0.01, Nb0.01)O2, using as ceramics phase, and borosilicate glass powder were fabricated to glass ceramic composites with different concentration via microwave heating technique. X-ray diffraction technique and Raman spectroscopy revealed the crystalline phase existence in the glass ceramic composites. The results were also confirmed by Scanning Electron Microscope. Moreover, as the content of ceramic phase increased it was found that the dielectric constant increased and dielectric loss decreased.
