Study of density distributions for some exotic nuclei using symmetrized Woods–Saxon potential
The ground state features like the nuclear densities and the root mean square radii for exotic neutron-rich nuclei [Formula: see text]Be, [Formula: see text]C, [Formula: see text]C, [Formula: see text]N, [Formula: see text]O and [Formula: see text]F have been investigated using the radial wave functions of symmetrized Woods–Saxon potential within the two-body model of (Core+[Formula: see text]. The evaluated results are compared with available experimental data. It found that a common feature of the neutron and matter densities for above-selected exotic nuclei is the long tail behavior. The elastic charge form factors of unstable exotic [Formula: see text]Be, [Formula: see text]C, [Formula: see text]C, [Formula: see text]N, [Formula: see text]O and [Formula: see text]F nuclei are calculated and compared with those of their stable isotopes 9 Be, [Formula: see text]C, [Formula: see text]N, [Formula: see text]O and [Formula: see text]F.
