Cultură și memorie (II). Deschidere heideggeriană a reflecției despre canonul cultural. Concluziile demersului fenomenologic și hermeneutic asupra canonului cultural ca memorie

This study aims to develop specific premises for a theory belonging to the cultural canon. After an edifying Bergsonian approach and after a necessary turn in Augustine’s theory on memory, published in the previous edition of this publication, we shall try to specify our reflection by the Heideggarian hermeneutics, regarding its main result being the decisive relation between the destiny and the temporal/historical Dasein’s constitution. Ultimately, we will offer a personal reflection on the cultural canon, based on the previous phenomenological and hermeneutical inquiries. The most important conclusions refer to the mediating role of the canon between the faculties of the Subject, the dynamics of the canon system, a possible pedagogy of the canon, and the structuring function of the canon as a compensation for the deconstructive function of the present. The Augustinian equivalence „animus sive memoria” could be considered the equational summary of the whole approach below.
