Istoria modernității: (post)kantianism și moștenire a stângii posthegeliene în viziunea lui P.P. Negulescu

The main aim of this study is to highlight the principal pillars of Negulescu’s History of contemporary philosophy, at the heart of which we find the Kantian criticism, responsible for influencing the genealogy of the whole modern ethos. The first part of this analysis is devoted to the model of Copernican Revolution, successfully implemented in philosophy by Kant in his Critique of Pure Reason, followed by a reconstruction of the inheritance that the German post-Kantian idealism left for European philosophy. The second part concerns the proper means through which Scottish philosophy, the revival of empiricism, and the English positivism fulfil Kantian criticism. The study ends by concluding the decisive role of Kantian criticism in constituting a modern philosophy of the subject that will be further developed by the leftist Hegelianism: Strauss, Feuerbach, Marx and Stirner.
