The study introduces a methodological approach combining financial analysis and creative problem-solving to enhance client orientation and financial resilience. The war exacerbates systemic issues, increasing risks, costs, and economic uncertainty. Limited resources and foreign aid dependence restrict investments in innovative solutions. Traditional financial models lack the flexibility needed to navigate rapid changes and geopolitical risks. Integrating financial design thinking can foster innovative solutions for efficiency and resilience. The study reviews global best practices, recommending blockchain, IoT, and supply chain finance to mitigate costs and adapt to wartime risks. It details developing a methodological approach, analyzing its impact, and providing implementation recommendations. Financial design thinking blends financial analysis and creativity to solve agribusiness problems by focusing on consumer needs and risk analysis. Key principles include empathy, collaboration, iterative processes, and prototyping. Tools like customer journey mapping visualize logistics cycles and improve client experiences. Global examples include blockchain for supply chain tracking, IoT for crop monitoring, AI for route optimization, credit for farmers, crop insurance, and national digital platforms. Adapting these tools to Ukraine's wartime realities, integrating financial design thinking, and developing public-private partnerships are crucial. Ukrainian innovations include precision farming, IoT, ERP, CRM systems, and alternative logistics routes. Financial design thinking enhances client orientation and stability. The proposed approach—empathy, problem definition, ideation, testing, implementation, and monitoring—improves logistics efficiency and enterprise adaptability, boosting financial stability and competitiveness.

Abstract

This article explores the application of financial design thinking to optimize logistics processes within Ukraine's agricultural sector, addressing challenges posed by economic instability and the ongoing war. Inefficient logistics lead to financial losses and hinder sector growth. The study introduces a methodological approach combining financial analysis and creative problem-solving to enhance client orientation and financial resilience. The war exacerbates systemic issues, increasing risks, costs, and economic uncertainty. Limited resources and foreign aid dependence restrict investments in innovative solutions. Traditional financial models lack the flexibility needed to navigate rapid changes and geopolitical risks. Integrating financial design thinking can foster innovative solutions for efficiency and resilience. The study reviews global best practices, recommending blockchain, IoT, and supply chain finance to mitigate costs and adapt to wartime risks. It details developing a methodological approach, analyzing its impact, and providing implementation recommendations. Financial design thinking blends financial analysis and creativity to solve agribusiness problems by focusing on consumer needs and risk analysis. Key principles include empathy, collaboration, iterative processes, and prototyping. Tools like customer journey mapping visualize logistics cycles and improve client experiences. Global examples include blockchain for supply chain tracking, IoT for crop monitoring, AI for route optimization, credit for farmers, crop insurance, and national digital platforms. Adapting these tools to Ukraine's wartime realities, integrating financial design thinking, and developing public-private partnerships are crucial. Ukrainian innovations include precision farming, IoT, ERP, CRM systems, and alternative logistics routes. Financial design thinking enhances client orientation and stability. The proposed approach—empathy, problem definition, ideation, testing, implementation, and monitoring—improves logistics efficiency and enterprise adaptability, boosting financial stability and competitiveness.
