Research and design of the process of asymmetric cold rolling of steel strips. Report 2
The paper summarizes the results of a comprehensive study of the parameters of cold asymmetric rolling of steel strips. To study the deformation zone and energy-force parameters during asymmetric rolling, a mathematical model of structural and energy-force parameters was developed, taking into account the relationship between tensions, reductions and friction conditions in the deformation zone. Regularities of wear of support rolls, slippage of working roll barrels were studied. It was shown that slippage of one of the rolls along the strip is possible, as well as an increase in strip tension fluctuations in the inter-stand gaps with an increase in the average barrel diameter of a set of rolls in a stand and a difference in the thickness of the rolled product. It was found that the difference in the diameters of the roll barrels will not affect the amplitude of strip tension fluctuations in the inter-stand gaps. The absence of a relationship between the asymmetry of the rolling process and wear of the surface of the support roll barrel was demonstrated. It was shown that with an increase in strip tension, the structure of the deformation zone becomes similar to the structure of a symmetric deformation zone, i.e. the influence of the asymmetry factor practically disappears. An algorithm for designing an asymmetric process is presented, taking into account the main limitations of the technology. This algorithm is based on the obtained research results, which can be useful in developing rolling modes in rolls with different barrel diameters of the upper and lower rolls in the working stand.K.
