Investigation on Strength of Geopolymer Ferrock Concrete
The globe is rapidly developing, and there is a strong emphasis on strengthening infrastructure, with the construction industry playing a critical role. Cement is a commonly used construction material, but its manufacture releases nearly 6%–8% of the world's total carbon dioxide, greatly contributing to global warming. To solve this issue and promote better waste management, the Ferrock product was created. Ferrock concrete is a revolutionary and sustainable material substitute for conventional concrete. This study examines Ferrock concrete, a device that promises to reduce carbon footprint and promote sustainable waste management. Ferrock stands apart from other cement supplements because of its unique strength-gaining mechanism, which indirectly minimizes carbon dioxide emissions. The process of carbonation and air curing is used for several days to produce desired qualities such as compression and tensile strength (TS). Ferrock is a promising eco-friendly binding material that addresses both carbon negative issues and trash management concerns.
