Organization’s publication activity. Acquisition and use of the database of employees’ publications

The institutional sci-tech libraries and research organizations’ information departments are in charge of acquiring data on employees’ publications, analyzing the array of publications and maintaining their control. The academic organizations and research institutions are accountable for publication output and have to monitor the dynamics of users information needs. The international scientometrical databases have restricted the access to the functions used to assess organizational performance and to generate reports before 2022. The national providers (National Electronic Library, academic publishers, etc.) provide data with serious delay. In these circumstances, the institutional resources and accumulated data are vitally important.
