Building the system to acquire and analyze data on the information needs of the Bank of Russia

The author describes the process of design and implementation of the subsystem of computerized acquisition and analysis of data related to the Bank’s of Russia information needs in periodicals, i.e., the workstation “Subscription Workstation”. The demand for the subsytem is evidenced by the annual study of Bank divisions information needs. The process of design and development was based on the functionality requirements to the upgraded Information Library Complex automated system. The subsystem advantages and prospects are discussed.
