Cognitive approach to designing user interface of departmental information systems of publication performance analysis

The author discusses the approach to designing user interface of departmental information system of publication performance analysis. The approach is based on the study and analysis of human cognitive activity within the process of interaction with user interface. The brief description of departmental information system of publication performance analysis is provided. The author examines the user accounts and functional roles and formulates the two vectors of human component to be considered in designing information system user interface. The cognitive activity approach is chosen as the methodological foundation of considering the human aspect in designing user interface. The publication is prepared within the framework of the Government Order No. 0138-2022-0010 “Regulation of professional interaction in the circumstances of organizational and technological challenges”.
