Portal of sectoral electronic catalogs based on IRBIS128. Experience of the Belarusian Agricultural Library

The authors describe the experience of creating the portal of sectoral electronic catalogs on the basis of IRBIS128, which facilitates interaction between libraries and research and practice centers, as well as the creation and sharing of bibliographic databases. The authors review users’ interaction with the union electronic catalog of the Department of Agrarian Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and with individual electronic catalog of the participating libraries that apply the functional capabilities of IRBIS system to create, edit and manage bibliographic records.
