Hot carrier cooling and direct observation of electron–phonon coupling in two-dimensional butylammonium lead iodide perovskites

Two-dimensional butylammonium lead halide perovskite thin films were photoexcited using 390 nm pulses. The instantaneously-generated hot charge carriers relax to the band edge with a time constant of ∼0.4 ps by emitting low-frequency optical phonon.

Abstract

Two-dimensional butylammonium lead halide perovskite thin films were photoexcited using 390 nm pulses. The instantaneously-generated hot charge carriers relax to the band edge with a time constant of ∼0.4 ps by emitting low-frequency optical phonon.
