PRODUCTION BEHAVIOR OF LIQUID-LOADED GAS CONDENSATE WELLS AND ITS PREDICTION

The purpose of this research is to study gas condensate wells production behavior with liquid loading. The development of this research begins with the diagnostics of selected wells, using the WellFlo simulator. Subsequently, the speed and flow rate critical conditions are determined using the Ikpeka and Okolo equation to corroborate the diagnostics findings. Finally, it compares critical conditions with those obtained by the predictive models of other authors such as Turner, Li, and Nosseir. Important conclusions include that velocity graphical representations, in addition to supply and demand curves, must be taken into account in the diagnosis of the gas condensate wells behavior, verifying the presence or absence of the liquid loading phenomenon. Additionally, it finds that the Ikpeka and Okolo predictive model generates results significantly above the ones found by other models evaluated, mainly the ones associated with the conditions for its development, which involve the inclusion of the liquid drops deformation coefficient.
