The test results of the improved reagent flotation mode at the Copper Processing Plant No. 1 of Almalyk MMP JSC
Almalyk MMP JSC (hereinafter referred to as AMMP) continues to improve existing technologies for processing gold-copper-porphyry ores from the Oliy Ziyo deposit. One of the key areas of further development is the use of new generation flotation reagents in ore processing at the existing and under construction copper processing plants (CPP) of AMMP. The results of pilot tests of the CPP-1 flotation reagent mode based on the use of a combination of AFI-4G10K and DP-4 collector flotation reagents of Russian production confirmed its high technological efficiency. The use of API-4G10K and DP-4 in combination with butyl potassium xanthate in the processing of Kalmakyr ore allowed to increase the extraction of metals into a collective copper-molybdenum concentrate compared with the standard reagent mode: copper — by 1.99% (abs.); gold — by 3.06% (abs.) when the regulatory quality of the concentrate is reached in terms of copper content (≥16% Cu). Due to the successful pilot tests, it was decided to gradually introduce AFI-4G10K and DP-4 reagents to CPP-1 AMMP instead of the used flotation reagents. AMMP has started working on a project to localize their production for the CPP in Almalyk.A. A. Abdukadyrov, N. G. Solomko, A. S. Medzhibovskiy, I. A. Kazin, A. M. Sainazarov, U. A. Parpiboev, O. Yu.
