Research on the conductive grounding performance of polyolefin lithium ion battery separators under compressive stress
Abstract This study focuses on the electrical conductivity of polyolefin lithium-ion battery separators under compressive stress. Lithium-ion batteries are widely used due to their superior energy efficiency characteristics. The diaphragm serves as the core component to prevent internal short circuits in the battery and promote lithium ion migration. Through high-precision displacement sensors, this study established a diaphragm compression testing method, analyzed the stress-strain behavior and microstructural changes of three types of diaphragms, and explored the relationship between their compression resistance and micropore structure, aiming to optimize diaphragm design to adapt to the internal environment of the battery.
