Influence of grid-connected wind energy mode on temporary power angle stabilization of wind-fire bundled system

Abstract The wind energy access methods and wind energy access ratio in different regions of China are different. For wind power combined with thermal power, which is sent out through the extremely high voltage alternating current alongside direct current lines, the amount of grid-connected wind energy to the end of the temporary power angle stabilization of the system also has different impacts. Therefore, to ensure the safety and stabilization of the electrical grid and the operating economy, it is of great significance to investigate the influence of grid-connected wind energy strategy on the transient power angle of wind-fire bundled alternating current and direct current transmission systems. In this paper, we first analyze the influence of three wind power access methods on the equation for electromagnetic power in a synchronous machine based on the equal-area rule, namely, equal output replacement of thermal power, direct access system, and equal capacity replacement of thermal power, investigate the transient stability of the system under the three wind power access methods through the change of accelerating and decelerating areas, and then verify the theoretical results by using the two-machine infinity system. Finally, as per the research findings, a proposal for fresh energy access to the power system is given, which helps to realize the safe and reliable delivery of expansive fresh energy within the novel power framework.
