Determination of transposition angle of hollow conductor for evaporative internal cooling wind generators
Abstract This paper addresses the unique stator coil structure of evaporative-cooled wind generators and proposes the use of hollow transposed coils to reduce the eddy current losses in large-area conductors within the slots. The alternating current resistance coefficients of the conductors in the slots for different structures are calculated through theoretical analysis. Additionally, finite element electromagnetic simulations are employed to construct models with varying transposition angles to determine the optimal transposition angle for the hollow conductors.
