A self-driven deformation detection robot technology for urban gas pipelines
Abstract In scenarios such as urban gas and oil and gas field gathering and transportation pipelines with medium and low-pressure displacement, compared with conventional internal inspection robots that are driven by the pressure difference generated by the conveying medium, the self-propelled pipeline robot described in this article equipped with sensing equipment such as deformation detectors can effectively detect defects such as pipeline deformation and make the inspection equipment lightweight.
