From a macro-perspective, the analyses mainly include the number of funded projects, the subjects of funded projects, language version of funded projects, and the topics of funded projects in “Chinese Academic Translation” project; from a micro-perspective, the analyses mainly cover work unit of initiators, multiple duplicate projects and funding distribution. The results of the research show that the current “Chinese Academic Translation” project needs to enhance the awareness of national translation of Chinese academic achievements, balance the imbalance in the development of subjects in the project, orient the translation of the target language, and cooperating with experts at home and abroad in selecting and choosing innovative topics.
