Secure Data Hiding with Chaotic Maps
The important areas for preventing hackers and spies from accessing private information without authorization are cryptography and steganography. Both methods can be applied separately or in tandem. The process of converting data into a format that cannot be read by anybody without the right decryption key is known as cryptography. Steganography, on the other hand, aims to hide data in a cover medium in a way that is invisible to the human eye. In order to improve the safety and reliability of data transmission networks, this study presents a high-resolution chaotic technique for embedding information into images. Higher levels of data hiding are achieved by the system through the integration of steganography and encryption. The suggested technique use the chaotic systems to produce a Random Index Vector (RIV) that preserves image quality by concealing data within the Least Significant Bits (LSB) of image pixels. The efficiency of the algorithm is illustrated by the simulation results which show a PSNR of 68.97 dB and an MSE value of 0.0076.
