Advancements in Hybrid Electric Vehicles through Isolated SEPIC Converter Technology
This study explores the use of isolated Single-Ended Primary-Inductor Converters (SEPIC) in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) to address the environmental impact of traditional combustion engines. It focuses on the role of SEPIC converters in boosting HEVs' efficiency and performance, particularly under varying loads. The paper analyzes different SEPIC configurations and their applications, including solar charging and regenerative braking energy systems. It combines theoretical and practical insights to show how these converters effectively manage energy in HEVs, enhancing efficiency and reducing ecological footprints. The study also discusses the challenges and prospects of SEPIC implementation, from performance optimization to cost-efficiency and thermal management.
