Blockchain-Based Decentralized Asset Sharing
The rise of blockchain technology has resulted in new solutions appearing in various sectors and one of the boldest recent trends, distributed resource sharing. This Data up to October, 2023. Traditional models provide decentralizing of trust and software called smart contracts, Transparency, Security, Lack of interference, Motivation in untrusted conditions, Resistance to censorship, Efficient technology of sharing and managing resources. It leverages blockchain technology, whereby these burgeoning functions of distributed models for coordinated resource management can be rendered more secure, transparent, and less susceptible to fraud and abuse. The core of these blockchain-based distributed resource sharing models is decentralization. Blockchain can allow shared resources (computational power, storage, bandwidth, or even energy) between groups of participants to be decentralized without third-party broker or central authority. With its transparency, Blockchain ensures the expenditures secured, which are visible to all participants of resources Thus, making the ecosystem a safe & secure platform for resources sharing. It has become a trust between participants because no one can control shared resources or data. In this context smart contracts - self-executing contracts with the terms of the agreement between buyer and seller being directly written into lines of code - are to be used, allowing the rules of shared usage to be automated and enforced. These type of contracts can be used to specify resources sharing agreement acccording to amount, time period, payments conditions etc. When all conditions are met, the smart contract automatically creates the transaction eliminating the need for human arbitration with far less potential for mistakes or disputes. Another important issue is security in distributed resource sharing. Blockchain provides the cryptography features that guarantees that the shared data is secure in terms of strong available (hash) and encrypted data, meaning it is secure against any unauthorized access or manipulation and tampering. Another reason is that decentralization enhances system security9, as there is no central point of failure, making it less susceptible to cyber attacks or data breaches. But at the same time in the trusted environment where the resources are shared, that is more privacy and allows participants to stay anonymous. One of the big advantages of the Blockchain based DRTs in the creation of decentralized marketplaces. These marketplaces allow users to interact directly with each other to buy, sell or rent resources without the need for centralization. By creating a peer to peer model, however, transaction costs are kept low and therefore creates a more robust and fluid marketplace for sharing resources.
