Employment of Meta Technologies for Efficient Design of a Planner Antenna at 5G Frequency Bands
The mobile technologies dominate the wireless communications recently. The reason behind the outstanding interest of many researchers about the technology development that related to the mobile generation and wireless communication, which leads to fast evolution of these generations in the current and last two decade of this century from 3G, 4G, and 5G, but the technologies used in 5G still need more development and improvement for a compact and efficient device. In this manuscript, meta technique employs for improving main parameters of antenna performance like gain bandwidth (BW), reflection coefficient and radiation efficiency. The proposed antenna design shows multi resonant frequency that mean the design able to operate at multiband of frequencies, which include 6Ghz band, the targeted band of 4G and 5G mobile communication technologies. The simulation results for the different model of adding metasurface to the proposed design show clear improvement to the performance parameters, beside the reducing of the resonant frequency that mean it can serve the lower frequency via small size of substrate, which makes it suitable for many applications.
